Samsung's experience (style SAMSUNG Experience ) is a special Android-based software that Samsung uses in its Galaxy-branded phone. The original name is TouchWiz, which was changed in late-2016 on the Android Nougat beta version of the Samsung Galaxy S7 family.

TouchWiz is an old name that Samsung uses for UI and its icons. Originally released on June 4, 2010, for Galaxy S. Reviewer smartphones have criticized Samsung for including too many features and bloat, especially in the Galaxy S4, which includes so-called many Samsung users "creep feature". In the following years, Samsung has gradually removed the bloatware and additional features, until TouchWiz is no longer known as TouchWiz, leading them to change its name.

Home Screen
Samsung Experience made some changes to the default Android homescreen. The app icon is on the bottom right of the screen, not in the bottom center, the Google Now search bar is just below the center of the screen, not the top, and there are weather widgets (provided by The Weather Channel or AccuWeather in certain countries or devices) in the upper right corner screen. Additionally, users can edit the layout of the app grid.
Edge UX
The "Edge" (curved glass on the edge of the screen) was originally introduced in the Galaxy Note Edge, and was popularized by the Galaxy S6 Edge.
Edge
The task edge gives the user a shortcut to commonly used tasks, such as making a phone call to a specific contact, setting a timer, and creating an event in S Planner. These are various icons (eg contact pictures [with phone, messages, or letter icons], app icons with plus symbols in the bottom right corner, or photos [from your library] masked in circles [with gallery icon in bottom right corner ]) to the right of the screen. The person's edge allows users to add 5 different contacts to display on the screen, for quick access to functions such as calling, sending messages, and sending email. Grace UX
First released with Samsung Galaxy Note 7 for Android Marshmallow, Grace UX is named after the device code, and finally made onto older devices, including Galaxy Note 5 via update (Korea and finally to other countries), and Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge via the official Android Nougat update. The Grace UX has a cleaner and more flat appearance for iconography and widespread use of white space. The Grace UX TouchWiz device also benefits from the Folder Safe functionality, which lets users store certain data, and even applications, behind secure passwords.

The view is always on
Only one pixel is lit when the screen is always on. The screen will display the current time, calendar, or selected image. There are different styles for each option (the clock has 7 styles, the calendar has 2 styles, and the image has 3 styles).

File Manager
Samsung includes a file manager with its Galaxy phone, unlike Android stock.
Game Launcher
Each game downloaded by a user is combined into a single folder. In that folder, one can optimize the frame rate and resolution. This includes the Game Tool, the button that appears when the user plays the game. When bugged, it can turn off notifications, turn off capacitive keys, minimize games, screenshots, and record games.
Bixby
Bixby is an assistant launched with Samsung Galaxy S8. It replaces S Voice on Samsung phones and has three parts, including Bixby Voice, Bixby Vision and Bixby Home. Bixby Voice can be triggered by saying "Hey Bixby" or pressing and holding buttons located below the rocker volume, dubbed the Bixby Button . Bixby can perform tasks related to a single keyword. For example, a simple "Night Night" can prompt the device to switch to silent mode and enable Night Mode display.

S Pen includes features such as:
- Air Command: A collection of shortcuts that appear when S Pen is issued.

- Samsung Notes: Users can take notes, draw, annotate, with a wide selection of brushes, pens and colors (available as apps on the Galaxy Store, except S Pen writing, but still possible with finger or keyboard type)
