Hell Vacation Hotels is an American online comedy short film released on February 7, 2010 on the HomeAway website. Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo repeated their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold. This is the first time Clark and Ellen have been seen in the movie Vacation since Vegas's Vegas Vacation; they then appear together again in 2015 Holiday . The short fourteen minutes aired as a series of ads during the Super Bowl to help promote HomeAway, Inc. Although approved by Warner Bros (which holds the underlying rights to the character series and the concept of Vacation ), the film is not sponsored by National Lampoon, Inc., which started the series Vacation .
On November 18, 2009, Us Weekly reported that HomeAway announced that it plans to use Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo in a national advertising campaign that would resemble

Sinopsis
Clark and Ellen Griswold (Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo) ride their Wagon Queen Family Truckster to visit their son, Rusty and his family, who spend their holidays renting beach homes. Clark and Ellen make a detour for the night at Le Connorde's , very sophisticated hotel. Clark starts to see the beauty of the brunette around the hotel and is instantly interested. After a misdemeanor with receptionist at the front desk (Robert Stephenson), Clark and Ellen finally got into their room, the Napoleon suite, which turned out to be very small. The adjacent rooms are also close enough for the guest next door, Doug, to hear every movement going on in their room.
While Ellen talks to Rusty (Travis Greer) and his wife and daughter through a web cam, Clark's genitals accidentally become visible on the web cam due to a small shower. Clark and Ellen decided to spend the night with a sumptuous dinner at the hotel restaurant but were told that it was booked because the "Shout Yourself Thin" seminar took place at the same time. Both tried to order room service but to no avail. Clark then fry the eggs over a flat iron. As the two left, they saw that they were charged for the Internet, phone calls, etc. Most likely they were billed for not buying towels from receptionists. Clark and Ellen leave the hotel to visit Rusty and his family. Once there, Clark brunette spots "hot girl" he saw at the hotel. She also noticed a goose-shaped towel, as the receptionist was selling.
