Mary Callahan Erdoes (born August 13, 1967) is Chief Executive Officer of JP Morgan Asset Management (a division of JPMorgan Chase), a global leader in investment management and private banking with more than $ 2.2 trillion in assets under supervision. In addition to being a member of JPMorgan Chase's Operating and Executive Committees, Erdoes leads the company's strategic partnership with Highbridge Capital Management and GÃÆ'ávea Investimentos. In 2016, Forbes Magazine placed it as the 60th most powerful woman in the world.

Early life and education
Mary Callahan was born on August 13, 1967 to Patricia and Patrick Callahan, Jr. Patrick Callahan is a former partner at investment banking firm Lazard Freres. Callahan Erdoes grew up in Winnetka, Illinois, a suburb of North Shore in Chicago. He grew up in a Roman Catholic family of Irish descent. Callahan Erdoes is a Catholic Catholic Catholic Academy of Catholic Academy in Lake Forest, Illinois. Erdoes completed his bachelor's degree at Georgetown University, majoring in Mathematics. She was the only woman who finished her maths at Georgetown at that time. He holds an MBA at Harvard Business School.

Callahan Erdoes started his career with Stein Roe & amp; Farnham, and described his maternal grandmother as instrumental to help her get the job during college. He describes his position there as "a glorified mailroom work". He then moved to the Bankers Trust, where he worked in corporate finance, trading banking, and high yielding debt guarantees. Before joining J.P. Morgan, he works at Meredith, Martin & amp; Kaye, a fixed income special adviser, where she is responsible for individual credit, trading, and portfolio management. In 1996, he joined J.P. Morgan Asset Management as head of fixed income for individuals, foundations, and high value endowments. In March 2005, he was appointed CEO of J.P. Morgan Private Bank. He assumed his current post in September 2009. He has been mentioned as a potential successor to JPMorgan Chase & amp; CEO Co Jamie Dimon.
In 2012, Callahan Erdoes was included in the 50 Most Influential lists of Bloomberg Markets . In March 2013, Business Insider entered Callahan Erdoes in the list of the 25 most influential women on Wall Street. In 2016, Callahan Erdoes was crowned the world's 60th strongest woman by Forbes .
Callahan Erdoes currently serves as a board member of the US Fund for UNICEF.
Personal life
Callahan Erdoes met her husband, Philip Erdoes at Harvard Business School. They live in New York City with their three daughters.
Callahan Erdoes is the main donor and initiator of the Republican Party. He contributed to the presidential campaigns of John McCain and Mitt Romney in 2008 and 2012, respectively.
