Qube , formerly known as Chase Tower , Bank One Center , and National Bank of Detroit Building , is an office building high-rise and Quicken Loans operating center in the US designated Detroit Financial District at 611 Woodward Avenue, in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. Built in 1959 and standing at a height of 14 floors and fully renovated in 2011. It is designed in a modern architectural style, and uses a lot of marble to coordinate with buildings in the nearby Civic Center. It was designed by Albert Kahn Associates.

History
Qube stood on the site of the first skyscraper in Detroit, the Hammond Building. The ground floor of this building is a huge 1.5 floor themed building. The building is known as 'Chase Tower' from 2006 to 2011 to reflect the purchase of Chase Bank at Bank One. In March 2007, Sterling Group purchased a tower from JP Morgan Chase. Occupancy is about 50 percent at the time of sale. The building has 3 official names now, for each of the 3 successive banks that have it: National Bank of Detroit (NBD), replaced by Bank One, and Chase last. The building has been passed by several names in the past, mainly: Bank One Center, Detroit National Bank Building, Bank One Building, and Chase Tower.
In April 2011, Quicken Loans purchased the building, renamed it Qube and moved 4,000 company employees to the facility. The company plans to fill the remaining space with retail.
In August 2014, the Detroit Bureau of the Southfield-based affiliate of ABC, WXYZ-TV moved to Qube after spending decades across the Detroit Police Department headquarters; Its new location now includes satellite studios and newsroom facilities.

Location
The building is located on a block bordered by Woodward Avenue in the east, with the First National Building opposite Woodward. West Fort Street is bordered by buildings in the north, with Cadillac Square and 1001 Woodward across the street. Griswold Street is bordered by buildings in the west, with the Penobscot Block and Chrysler House across the street. West Congress Street is bordered by buildings in the south, with the Guardian Building across the street. Across from Woodward Ave. from the Guardian Building is located Ally Detroit Center, and Buhl Building is located opposite Griswold Street, to the west. The building has a shape and size similar to the 411 Building, owned by a competitor Comerica.
