History

The building was designed by productive architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & amp; Merrill. The building was formerly known as Bank One Tower, and even earlier, the Amoco Building, since Standard Oil once rented out most of the buildings. When JPMorgan Chase and Bank One join, the name of the building turns into a Chase Tower. Now, according to the building website, the current building's name is its address, 1125 17th Street.

By 2017, ownership has shifted several times.
